  Currently they are organizing a National Soul Patrol Convention where legions of Taylor's fans can meet and raise funds together. The event will be two fun-filled days, full of music, socializing, games, activities, raffles, food and entertainment. All funds raised from this event will be split between Kid One Transport and The Alabama/Georgia chapter of The Make a Wish Foundation.   Friday night, February 22, the Renaissance Hotel in Montgomery, AL, was the site of the 12th Induction Banquet and Awards Show for the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. Some of Alabama’s best were winners of various music awards, and the entertainment was a combination of past and present winners, some of the best in the industry, not just Alabama!   My thoughts, rants and ramblings

  Okay so here are my thoughts about Taylor. Nope, I don't have to dig to deep on this one. Why should I. The thoughts are simple and for the most part common knowledge. It sure does'nt take a genius to notice that Taylor was ripped off by American Idol. Although, as an outsider looking in that is how I perceive things. Yet to put my self in Taylor's position I may be thinking what the hell. The show gave me what I needed and more. Maybe Taylor didn't need all the extra hype that Idol promised and didn't deliver. Just maybe Taylor got his shot at fame he feels like He made it the top where he wanted to be. Okay these are a lot of maybe's as it's true or;just a fans perception of a bunch of could be's. I know that being a fan and staying a fan are two different things altogether. So if Taylor is out in cyber space somewhere and by fat chance happens upon this blog. I have some fanly advice for him. Taylor Dude (said like Randy Jackson so as to get his attention) Listen up dawg. Since your split with J-records, the fans have lost a lot of  "connection" with you. You're out doing your thing , while we all sit in anticipation of your next move. You now use your myspace site as your "Official" site. which from a designer's point of view is a mess. We also know that you have nothing if anything at all personally to do with that site. You got to get it together man. We love ya, but we're working on fumes here. It's time to pull up your boot straps and get back on that wagon and enjoy the ride. Get a site going that all your fans (not just the ones who can afford a membership) can get into. Give us updates and hopeful possibilities that we will hear your music shine again soon. Another thought for you. ..don't be afraid to ask your fans for help and support. It is what we're here for.  Haven't you looked out your window of opportunity yet to see were all trying to get your name out there. We're trying to do good deeds for our fellow man to help support a good name for you. Because you have taught us so much more then just a better knowledge of what "great" music is all about.
